100 SUPERSTARS Scholarship Fund Campaign

Throughout our history The Committee of 100 has sought to advance more than just a legislative agenda by awarding college scholarships as our chief philanthropic focus. The goals of the program are:

1. To further the overall purpose of The Committee of 100 of promoting responsible economic development by providing support to New Castle County students studying business, economics, science, technology, engineering, math or related fields, and

2. To enable The Committee of 100 to provide a service to the community beyond its promotion of a healthy economy in Delaware.

The Committee of 100 Fund has awarded over 50 scholarships totaling more than $90,000 in the past 25 years. The scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. In recent years, it has been difficult for our Education & Scholarship Committee to select just one $3,000 scholarship recipient from among the extraordinary finalists.

We need your help!

Through the 100 SUPERSTARS Scholarship Fund Campaign we are seeking to expand the number of scholarships awarded and increase each award. The goal is for The Committee of 100 Scholarship Fund to be self-sustaining – so that we can not only support New Castle County’s students better, but also won’t have to ask for annual contributions in the future.
